The customer had an existing flat roof extension and wanted to start using it as a library, but needed more light. Everitt & Jones deigned, built and installed a fully insulated roof, incorporating a lantern to replace the old flat roof.

150mm of extruded polystyrene was used to insulate the roof, constructed according to building regulations. Additional down lights were added to provide more light. The roof was constructed using Fibreglass – http://www.avant-garde-roofing.co.uk/

We received a glowing comment from the customer: “This is the best professional building project we’ve ever had carried out”.

All old roof timbers were removed from the site and recycled to heat our workshops
